The Smartplay is suitable to be used from the first weeks of baby’s life, with every detail considered to keep baby’s attention. The base has a good amount of padding so there is no need to put anything underneath, there is a cushion included for comfortable tummy time, this can also be used as a comfortable prop when baby is sitting up when older. The mat weighs 1.04 kg and measures up at 96 x 102.5 x 57 cm, it has been product tested and approved according to European safety standard EN 71-1. As well as the cushion the mat comes with two bars with connector, six adjustable walls, seven toys and 20 balls, the whole thing is easy and quick to assemble.

The mat has contrasting colours and black and white details carefully chosen to stimulate the child’s senses from the very first days. These toys use different aesthetic and cognitive values, through which the child develops faster. All the toys can be freely pinned to the base of the mat via the universal connector as well as the bar allowing you to mix up the configuration to keep things interesting. One cool thing about the mat is the adjustable walls, these can be raised up to keep the toys close to hand and encourage baby to raise their head to peep out, but also transforms it into a mini ball pit.
