EcoFlow 110W Solar Panel 5

It might seem that when you are away from home you have to sacrifice some creature comforts due to the lack of power, however the moment we step outside we have an excellent source of energy right above our heads…the sun. The Ecoflow Solar Panel has been created to harness the suns rays and turn them into usable renewable energy to charge up your power station, it comes in four sizes, we received the 110W to have a play with, but it also comes in 160W, 220W and 400W.

This Solar Panel is portable in as much as its not bolted to your roof but it’s not something you are going to pop in your backpack for a day’s hike, when folded it is 16.5 × 20.2 × 1.0 inches and weighs 6 kg in total. Once unpacked the panel rolls out to 62.5 × 20.2 × 1.0 inches, the robust carry case doubles as a stand that can be adjusted from 0 to 180 degrees so you can angle it just right to get the maximum solar intake.

The panel is made from monocrystalline silicon cells that provide a high conversion efficiency of 21-22%, it can be linked up with other panels to recharge even faster, it has a tough body that can handle dust, sand and full submersion in water up to a meter for 30 minutes, and an ETFE film protects against ultraviolet rays. The Ecoflow is universal compatible with an MC4 connector, you can power almost any power station with ease, it can even be used indoors if you are in a fix, it won’t charge as well but it will still charge. This solar panel is a great investment to keep your power bank topped up where ever you are, it is tough enough to withstand the elements even if you yourself need some little powered based luxuries.
