The filters from Zerowater use a five stage filtering system to ensure you are left with the purest water at the end of the process.

Firstly, the Coarse Filter Screen removes suspended solids such as dust and rust that can make your water appear cloudy, the Foam Distributor removes additional suspended solids, next the Multi-layer Activated Carbon and Oxidation Reduction Alloy removes organic contaminants; pesticides, herbicides, Mercury, Chlorine, Chloramine, and stops bacteria from growing. Next the Dual Comprehensive Ion Exchange Resin removes inorganic compounds i.e. metals, nonmetals and radiological contaminants and to finish up the Ultra-Fine Screen and Non-Woven Membrane Layers remove the remaining suspended solids and holds the resin in place.

The 12 Cup Filter Jug comes with a water quality meter (TDS meter) so you can actively see the difference between the quality of your water before and after the filtering process. This jug is the first in its class to feature a sealed lid and reservoir which lets you pour the filtered water whilst the remainder is in the reservoir being processed, this provides you with a further 2 cups of capacity to the 10 cups of filtered water in the jug. It has a one-handed, pull and pour button spout which means you can easily pour it straight from the fridge without having to set your glass or bottle down first, you may need to work on your biceps however as it is pretty heavy when full.
