That’s where Azio decided to shake things up a little and combine technology with standout designs and unconventional materials. The Retro Classic Mouse (RCM) certainly does that with a less is more look and genuine leather finish. This mouse comes with a USB-C charging cable, two interchangeable top covers and USB-RF receiver, the leather top is made from top-grain chrome-tanned leather which is soft and tactile to hold and provides a solid grip even with moist hands.

Each leather top is precision-cut, moulded in and has a hand-trimmed finish, it looks so premium that it was a surprise that the price tag isn’t higher. It has a low profile at just 113 x 65 x 34 mm and weighs a comfortable 108g, it can also be used in both the left and right hand. The wheel is made from textured aluminium with an anodized finish for added durability whilst the outer frame utilises alloy metals and precision bolts. The Retro Classic Mouse uses the PixArt PAW3805 sensor can be used on pretty much any surface, including glass and high-gloss material which is lucky as it looks particularly good on a dark glossy surface. The other included top is a rather unimpressive matte black plastic that you might want to use to switch up the look now and then or impress a vegan client but otherwise it will probably just live in a drawer. The mouse can be connected over Bluetooth (device with Bluetooth 4.0 or newer) or the included RF receiver, both are easy to set up but it is worth noting that there is no wired option. You don’t have to worry about the battery letting you down however as the 1000mAh lithium ion will deliver up to four months of use from one charge.
