Logitech C922 Pro

If like me you now find working from home a permanent feature of your job, you will find yourself using software like GotoMeeting, Meets, Zoom etc everyday which was software I had never heard of 18 months ago. Now for most people working from home they are happy to use their laptops whereas I prefer the desktop set up, mine does not come with an inbuilt camera so I am always happy to try out new webcams and this month I got a chance to play with the Logitech C922 Pro.
This little device is ideal if you’re looking to get into streaming, video chatting with friends and family, or video conferencing for work like myself, the Logitech C922 Pro is a real standout option jampacked with features. Capable of recording and streaming video at 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second, or 720p resolution at 60 frames per second. This flexibility lets you choose between higher image quality or more fluid motion in the video stream. The Logitech C922 Pro Stream supports digital zoom, so you can zoom in on areas of the shot without the image becoming pixelated.
With a 78-degree field of view we easily got us both and the newborn on screen and the autofocus feature ensured that everyone was in focus. There’s also light correction which alters the image to make sure you’re brightly lit and clearly visible. Another nice feature, if there are a few of you on the call, is the dual microphone set-up, with one mounted on each side of the camera. Dual microphones capture sound more realistically by pulling it in from multiple angles to recreate the sound pattern on the other side, helping your voice sound more natural than a single microphone.
If you’re looking for a good quality webcam for everyday use, we think the Logitech C922 Pro Stream is a great option. RRP £94.99
