The FitTrack Dara Smart Body BMI Scale helps you get an incredibly detailed insight into your health instead of just giving you the one number to work with. The Dara has four metal electrodes for your feet, two for your heels, two for your toes, then a very low electrical signal is sent from your feet, through your body, don’t worry this is safe and you won’t feel a thing. The electrical signal passes quickly through water in muscle tissue but slower through fat tissue, this is then used to measure and calculate your body composition measurements. Once measured the scales will provide you with your weight, BMI, visceral fat, muscle mass, hydration levels, bone mass, BMR, body fat %, protein % body age, body fat, weight control, standard weight, weight without fat, muscle weight, protein amount and obesity degree, phew that’s a lot to take in.

The measurements are highly accurate and are +/- 3% as accurate as a medical DEXA (x-ray) body fat percentage scan, with your weight being precise to +/- 300grams. The smart algorithm adjustments are based on individual habits giving you personalised insights into your health, you can understand how the different body metrics that can be improved, letting you know if those numbers mean fat, muscle or water in your body. The Athlete Mode helps provide more accurate results for active users and making it suitable for all body types. The scales are compatible with fitness apps like Apple Health, Google Fit and many more.
