Ener-J IP20 Indoor IP Camera

We have reviewed a number of outdoor cameras over the last few months but this is the first indoor camera we have had a chance to review and the first product from the brand Ener-J.

The IP20 Indoor IP Camera comes nicely packaged, included in the box is the camera itself, plug, cable, bracket, screws and wall plugs and the instructions. The camera is well built and the cable is a USB to Micro USB with a good length of 1.8m. The bracket allows you to mount the camera either on a wall or ceiling, simply screw the bracket into the base of the camera. There is a slot for you to place the micro SD, when the camera is in place and plugged in you will see a red glow from the SD card slot to indicate that the camera is turned on.

You will then need to sync up the camera to your phone via the app, to set this up add the device on the app and connect it to your Wi-Fi. When this is done the app will present you with a QR code which you will present to the camera and it will announce via the speaker on the camera when this has been connected.

The app is very simple to use and has great functionality allowing you to direct the camera where you want with its 360 degree rotation, the reaction from the app to turning the camera is instant. You can choose to have the camera in standard or high definition in which the view was very clear. Motion detection can be set between low, medium and high and time parameters can be set on the app.
