The Think Tank FocusPoint 30L RollTop is a versatile backpack that works well as both a dedicated camera bag and a day pack for travel or commuting. It strikes a good balance between organisation and carry comfort, and suits anyone who wants quick access to gear without fuss. It comes in four attractive designs, Asphalt Black, Greenway, Golden Hour and Urban Rust.

The roll top design has a parachute style quick-release buckle means you can adjust the capacity depending on what you are carrying, which is handy when you need extra room for jackets or personal items. Inside there is a padded camera insert that can be removed entirely, so the bag can transition smoothly from camera pack to everyday use.

You can access your gear from both the rear panel and side openings, so retrieving is possible without having to set the bag down first. The insert will comfortably fit a full frame body with two zoom lenses or several prime lenses, and there are ten pockets both inside and out to keep accessories, batteries and personal items sorted.

Tech gear is well catered for, there is a padded laptop sleeve that fits up to 16 inch devices and additional zipped compartments for tablets, cables and smaller bits. Comfort has been considered in the design, thanks to the breathable mesh and cushioned foam on the back panel with air channels help keep you cool on longer treks, and adjustable straps and a removable waist stabiliser strap make it easier to carry heavier loads without strain. Be warned however on warmer days and continuous wear you might still end up with some sweat patches.

The bag has been thoughtfully constructed from sustainable, bluesign certified and PFAS free materials. There is a seam-sealed rain cover included, for extra protection from the elements.

The FocusPoint RollTop will easily become one of your go to bags for all occasions. It is protective and considerate with your camera gear but can then be switched out day trips, work or the gym.
