The Munchkin Baby Swing comes with a Free Newborn Bundle which is great for new parents or parents who have learnt lessons from their previous kids. It comes with modern baby swing available in either Black or White that aims to soothe your baby with a side-to-side sway freeing up your hands to do the 100 other jobs that need doing. Set it up is straightforward which is always good news for the sleep deprived, the pieces snap together cleanly, and once assembled it feels sturdy yet not overly heavy (approx. 9lb) so move from room to room.

The Swing emulates the parents’ natural side-to-side sway with five levels of range of motion. You can stream music or play ambient sounds from your phone, and switch between preloaded classics like Bach or Beethoven and nature noises. The digital touch display is intuitive, and there is also a remote control so you can adjust speed, timer and sound without disturbing your baby, honestly these guys can smell you in their sleep.

The seat is super comfortable and well padded, and the fabric parts (body pad, headrest) are machine washable, an absolute must with messy infants. It doesn’t have to take up space when not needed as it folds flat, making it easier to tuck away or travel with compared to bulkier swings. It is suitable for babies 5–20 lbs/ 2.5-9kg. (until child can sit up or climb out of the swing). It is not perfect, the side-to-side motion is the only direction offered, so you cannot choose forward-back or circular movements that some other swings provide.

The Free Newborn Bundle includes a Mini Thermometer. This portable infrared forehead thermometer can be used at home and on the go. Featuring 1-second readings, professional accuracy and easy-to-read digital LCD display with colour-coded indicators it is incredibly useful when baby isn’t feeling too well. The Shush White Noise Machine features three different sounds, shushing, heartbeat and white noise. It has a built-in timer and a soft night light that can glow solid or pulse. There is also a Brica Baby In-Sight Car Mirror that has an extra-large convex design for wide-angle view of your baby in the back seat, this is another reassuring accessory that it worth having.
