Mechlands M75
Gaming and Computing June 10, 2025
Next up we have the M75, this 75% layout keyboard offers features typically found in higher-end models. Don’t let its small stature deceive you it has retained essential keys like the function row and arrow keys while saving desk space. Its ABS plastic case is reinforced with aluminium side plates, providing a sturdy feel without excessive weight. The keyboard comes with Cherry-profile double-shot PBT keycaps, known for their durability and resistance to shine over time.
The M75 features Outemu magnetic linear switches utilizing Hall Effect technology. These switches feel smooth and quick to press, and they’re built to last for up to 100 million key presses. The keyboard boasts an ultra-low latency of 0.128ms and an 8000Hz polling rate, ensuring swift responsiveness for gaming and typing alike.
Customisation is a strong suit of the M75. It supports advanced features like adjustable actuation points, rapid trigger, and customisable dead zones. The keyboard also includes a swappable rotary knob, which can be replaced with an extra keycap if preferred. One thing I really appreciated about the M75 is how beginner-friendly it is for those just getting into mechanical keyboards. The hot-swappable sockets mean you can easily try different switches without any soldering, which is perfect if you fancy experimenting or upgrading later on. It’s small details like this that make the M75 feel a bit more polished and practical than you’d expect from a keyboard at this price point.
The M75 offers vibrant south-facing RGB backlighting with per-key customisation. However, as mentioned in our previous review the companion software is somewhat unintuitive, which might pose a learning curve for some users but it is not a deal breaker.
The Mechlands M75 punches above its weight class, delivering premium features at a budget price. Its solid build, responsive switches, and extensive customization options make it a standout choice for gamers and typists seeking value without sacrificing performance. While the software could use some refinement, the overall package is impressive for its price point. RRP £54
