Apollo Wearable 3.5

You could be forgiven for thinking the Apollo Neuro is just another activity tracker but this does more than collect data it actually helps your body by hacking your nervous system. This wearable that aims to help you feel calmer, sleep better and focus more easily. You wear it anywhere on your body thanks to the included clips and soft adjustable strap. It sends soft vibrations that are meant to relax your body and steady your mood. Everything is controlled through an app on your phone, where you can pick how strong the vibrations feel and choose from different modes and areas you want help on.
There are eight basic settings in total, each designed for a different situation. Like so many wearables you can access the basic features right away but for the really good stuff you will need to purchase the SmartVibes Al Membership $99p/a. The idea is simple: pick how you want to feel, and the Apollo does the rest. The battery lasts 8huors with continuous use, that’s a couple of days on average, depending on how often you use it and how strong you set it.
Apollo’s award-winning SmartVibes AI works quietly away in the background to deliver gentle, personalised vibrations that activate your vagus nerve. Evidence suggests this can help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up balanced, focused, and ready each day. It is really comfortable to wear, super gentle, never jarring, and you can easily forget you are wearing it after a while.
Still, it is not perfect. The device is chunkier than a fitness tracker, so it can feel awkward under tight sleeves. The Velcro strap could be sturdier, and the app sometimes fails to connect properly or misses a scheduled session. The battery life is fine for light use, but frequent users might find themselves recharging more often than they would like. It also doesn’t record your biometrics so if you want to still get that data you will need to wear a tracker or smart watch at the same time.
Overall, the Apollo Neuro is a clever bit of tech for anyone who wants a simple, non-medical way to ease stress or improve sleep. It is not a magic fix, but the evidence suggests it could make a real difference when used regularly. RRP $398
