Beldray Cordless Roller Cylinder Vacuum

The Beldray Cordless Roller Cylinder Vacuum is a bit of an anomaly squeezing in between cordless vacuums but with a two-piece design, handy for those short of space for storing bulky uprights.

This cylinder vacuum has a 200-watt motor that can be changed between low to high-speed suction power of 10KPA and 16KPA. The battery takes about four hours to receive a full charge, this will give you a run time of up to 20 minutes on its highest setting, which is longer than some premium cordless vacuums, however it will only last an extra 10 minutes on the lower setting which was a surprise. The motorised floor brush helps to whip up dirt, dust and hair from both hard floors and carpets, there is also a small round brush ideal for upholstery and delicate furniture as well as a 2 in 1 crevice nozzle for getting into those tight spaces under units and along tight edges. When it comes to doing tricky spots like the stairs there is a carry strap that can be attached to the rolling cylinder which can then be worn on the shoulder.

The downside to this is that the strap needs to be removed when you are rolling the unit on the floor again, the strap then needs to be tucked in a pocket or somewhere. The cylinder itself is light and pulls around the house easily, like many of these floor units it can get stuck on corners or in doorways but is easy to wiggle free. This cordless vacuum can hold up to 500ml in the dust bin before it needs to be emptied which is slightly on the conservative side. This vacuum handles itself well on both hard floors and carpets, the dual unit system although easy to navigate may seem like a step back for some but having a chunk of the weight on the ground means the handheld part is much lighter and more user friendly.
