moKee Natural Moses Basket

moKee have been steadily increasing their range of scandi style nursery and baby products with their natural materials being at the heart of their designs, one of their latest releases is the Natural Moses Basket now available in the Seagrass collection.

This moses basket is available with or without the stand and comes in the choice of a Green or Natural finish, this hand-woven basket is made from seagrass making it a durable piece that fits in with the timeless MoKee style. The basket has internal dimensions of 72cm in length and 38cm in width, the height at the front is 18cm which raises up to 25cm in the back for more of a traditional style. Like all moses baskets it is suitable for babies up to 6 months of age who cannot sit up on their own, roll over and lift themselves up on their hands and knees.

The Seagrass comes with an aloe vera infused quilted cover mattress with a comfortable but firm reflex foam filling, perfect for keeping baby safe, this mattress is also breathable ensuring your little one remains cool whilst they sleep. The cover has a zip fastening and is machine washable because let’s face it, it will probably end up with some bodily fluid on it fairly quickly, the grey material that lines the Moses basket is also machine washable for those extra messy events. The optional stand perfectly matches the Seagrass basket, it is straight forward to put together (it must be I managed it whilst pregnant), there are additional supporting rungs, and on the sides and in the middle, there are straps for added stability. The stand measures up at 62H x 44W x 89L cm, it is made from solid beech wood with a water-based VOC free paint finish that compliments the basket beautifully.
