Edifier NeoBuds Pro

The NeoBuds Pro from Edifier are some sleek looking earbuds, they come with a compact charging case, storage bag and 7 colour coded ear tips, the brushed chrome effect stems with their angular design stand out from the crowd.

The earbuds are larger than some out there but for me it makes them easier to handle, especially when running or wearing gloves, they are very light however and remain comfortably locked in place even during vigorous exercise. The IP54 rated dust and water resistance also make them a good companion for exercise, the eartips are germ proof, specially designed to prevent bacterial growth caused by daily wear-and-tear. The NeoBuds Pro are the first True Wireless Stereo earbuds to have Hi-Res Audio certification and have a frequency response of 40KHz and it is noticeable from the first few seconds.

These support both LHDC and LDAC with the decoding rate up to 900Kbps, the sound quality is impressive with a deliciously deep bass and balanced mid tones, topped off with clear and cheerful high tones, you can hear every instrument and each breath. This is particularly good when it comes to gaming, there is also a Gaming Mode, where the latency is reduced to as little as 80ms, for faster reactions and better game play. The seal on these earbuds is pretty good at blocking out the sound but for an added push there is an Active Noise Cancellation up to 42dB, you can choose between the High mode and Comfortable mode. There are six built-in microphones, to provide clear phone calls without distracting background noise, this is a companion app where the EQ can be personalised. The battery life will last about 5 hours + 15 hours with the charging case and with the ANC off it will last about 6 hours + 18 hours with the charging case. RRP $129.99
