Majority D80 Bluetooth Speakers 4
These Bluetooth-enabled speakers have been designed to be adaptable for whatever audio experience you require. They can pair up via Bluetooth to your device of choice to emit your favoured sounds or you have the option of using an HDMI ARC slot so that you can take advantage of them no matter how many different devices you have in your set up. They also come with a USB port and ports to connect the speakers using a traditional wired connection if you wish to do so, making this set of speakers incredibly versatile.

They have a healthy 80W output which, although not as powerful as the D40X speakers from Majority reviewed elsewhere in this issue, gives you a decently powerful audio, suitable for most peoples’ living environment. If you’re prone to hosting large parties, they may not quite cut it but for the rest of us, these will do nicely! From an aesthetic point of view, I find them quite pleasing to the eye with nice rounded features and an almost relaxed, chilled kind of look, leaning back as they do.

The sound quality is solid with manual dials for bass and treble control on the back of the main speaker. Oddly, these functions are missing from the remote, most of the buttons being devoted to selecting whatever sound mode you wish to listen to your audio in with styles such as Movie or Dialogue as well as the option to switch between whatever input you want being your options here. And, of course, the usual track skip back/forwards and volume controls, all easily laid out and identifiable on the remote itself. It’s worth noting that track skipping/rewinding only works on Bluetooth and USB modes which makes sense, seeing as these are not players themselves but hopefully, that will save someone a little frustration!
