If there’s one name to stand out in the world of speakers, it’s got to be Marshall. With that distinctive boxy amp we’ve all come to appreciate from live gigs, they’re instantly recognisable, just like these headphones. I absolutely love the fact that they’ve imitated that boxy look with these – it gives them a distinct, unique look that just screams Marshall at you!

Aesthetics aside, these Bluetooth headphones are very adaptable. The Bluetooth is 5.3 and you can connect up to two devices at a time with 10 saved in the memory. They also have an impressive battery life, tapping out at 100 hours playtime when wireless. The quick charge function gives you another 15 hours of wireless play time for just 15 minutes of charging so you can easily rely on these when you’re out and about and if you want a full charge, it only takes 3 hours. The Marshall app also allows you to fiddle about with the battery life using their battery preservation setting so you can adjust it suit your usage. Speaking of charging you have two options: good old wired USB-C and these also charge wirelessly on a charging pad for added convenience.

Another useful feature is the so-called M-button. This is a catch-all button that allows you to open Spotify Tap, adjust your EQ settings and open the Voice Assistant. You can customise how the M-Button works for you in the app also but it starts with Spotify Tap as the default. Phone calls are easily dealt with using this feature too. The app allows you to custom tune the dynamic drivers so you can set up your sound to bring great clarity to whatever you’re listening to and having the app ensures you have the most up-to-date firmware. The final thing to mention is the ease with which you can just fold this up and slot it in to a pocket or in a bag, very handy! RRP £129.99

It’s almost like you’re wearing a set of Marshall mini-amps on your ears! I really like these and being very adaptable, you can use them pretty much how you like.
  • Reasonably priced for what you get
  • Ability to connect another set of headphones so you can share your music with someone else
  • Marshall quality
  • Look pretty cool
  • There is no automatic cut-out of Bluetooth when you use a wired connection, you need to ensure your Bluetooth devices aren’t playing which is odd.
