Beretta DryTek Active Jacket GTX

The DryTek Active Jacket GTX from Beretta is a men’s hunting jacket that comes in sizes Small up to Extra, Extra, Extra Large, it comes in one colour, Green and is part of Beretta’s Active Hunt collection. The Active range has been created for the walked-up hunting, both for hare or wing, upland hunting and for stalking Big Game. This line aims to provide maximum protection during the hunt as well as being suitable for long walks in the woods or in the field with easy access to pockets, cartridge holders and game bags. The DryTek Active jacket has been crafted for the hunters’ movements, GORE-TEX 2L fabric and the taped seams means this jacket remains fully waterproof and windproof whilst allowing the fabric to breath and release moisture and heat generated by the body. This membrane is bonded to the outer fabric which is a soft polyester twill 150 denier with a smooth peached surface, this helps the jacket remain noise free, no rustling of waterproofs, the durable wear resistant fabric also lets you get up close with your environment without damaging the coat and the durable water repellent treatment (DWR) keeps the outer shell drier.

The DryTek is compatible with the BIS 3, the Beretta Interactive System 3rd layer (Outer layer), this allows for an extra layer to be added to the jacket for protection in extremely cold conditions. There are plenty of pockets to utilise in the DryTek including two radio pockets with an antenna hole on the chest, two zippered front pockets, an inner pocket on the shoulders for the Beretta Recoil Reducer and an inner pocket with Velcro closure. At the bottom of the coat there is an inner drawstring for a precise fit with additional wear resistant protection at the bottom. The cuffs also have a Velcro and wear resistant insert on the hem and feature hidden Lycra cuffs with thumbholes to keep the wind out, the shoulders have a raglan cut and preformed sleeves for unrestricted movement of the arms. There are also added grip area on the shoulders, front zip open with protection flaps, a microfleece inner collar lining for added comfort and an emergency hood in the collar for extra shelter against the weather.
