The Nord 2 from SMOK is an updated version of their very popular original kit the Nord, inside the kit you will find the Nord 2 Device, 1 x Nord 2 RPM Pod Cartridge, 1 x Nord 2 Nord Pod Cartridge, USB cable and manual.
The first thing you notice is the increase in power with a 1500mAH battery capacity it has more powerful than its predecessor enabling up to 40w of power with the correct coil, with a coil resistance range of 0.3Ω to 3.0Ω. They’ve also added a little OLED screen with which you are able to dial your preferred wattage up to 40w and the battery capacity is upped to that of the original. You can also take advantage of different coils, to give you a varied vaping experience.
Measuring in at 95mm by 30.5mm with a body thickness of 20mm and with a pod attached the weight is around 80g, the Nord 2 is slightly thicker and a tiny bit taller than the original Nord. The device is made, primarily, of a zinc alloy and plastic, and both the battery (body) and the pods are of good quality with a great design and manufacture with a hand comfort that matches is predecessor.
The battery life was good around 4 to 4.5 hours at 12w using the Nord 0.8Ω coil and 3.5 hours using the 0.4Ω at 22w. It is very simple to use with five rapid clicks turning the device on and off. For me they have bettered their best selling product and by quite some margin.
