It’s easy to wonder where the time has gone in the day, it can be confusing as to how the hours have slipped by yet it appears that you have achieved very little (or at least this seems to be how my days go).
The TimeFlip2 is a unique little device that helps you track your time and get a better insight into what might be stopping you from being as productive as you could be. The TimeFlip2 comes in the form of a large 12-sided dice that connects to your smartphone (iOS and Android), it arrives with 42 pre-designed stickers as well as 100 empty ones you can customise to certain tasks. The TimeFlip2 has been created to make logging time an instinctive and enjoyable task, simply flip the device so that your current activity sits at the top and it will automatically start tracking the time. The TimeFlip2 is powered by a mobile app and a web service to store, process and export time data, you can pause/restart the timer with a tap in case you need to grab a drink or pop to the loo, the built-in onboard memory allows the timer to work offline.
The pomodoro timer feature lets you split work in short bursts, this technique is a time management method that uses a timer to break down work, traditionally into 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks for higher productivity. The embedded LED will provide instant visual feedback on your time status and what activity you are recording. This timer requires two AA batteries. The mobile app is where you will find all your stats, tweak and adjust your activities and the length of time you have allocated for each task. The data is then all stored on the cloud where it can be accessed via the app or web interface with full graphical analysis on your time usage last day, week, month or year. This quirky little product could just be what you need to regain focus throughout the day, we would like to see a few more features such as reminders or rewards, although the offline mode is particularly helpful meaning you can put your phone out of reach for even less distraction.
