We regularly have power cuts where we live it was never really an issue until we had children. If the power goes out now, everyone panics, grownups can handle the dark, cereal for dinner and lack of Bluey on telly but these things are not acceptable for two under fives! There are a few thoughtful extras as well. The unit can act as a car jump starter, which is very handy in an emergency, and it includes a bright LED light for outdoor use. A built-in battery management system offers protection against overcharge, overheating and other risks.
