EPOMAKER HE108
Gaming and Computing June 3, 2026
The EPOMAKER HE108 is aimed at gamers who want the speed and responsiveness of a modern Hall Effect keyboard without losing the comfort and sound of a proper enthusiast board. It blends competitive gaming features with a refined typing experience, which is not always something magnetic switch keyboards manage particularly well.
The HE108 uses EPOMAKER Creamy Jade magnetic switches with fully adjustable actuation from 0.1mm to 3.3mm, alongside Rapid Trigger, SOCD, and DKS support. For fast paced shooters and competitive games, it feels responsive. Input latency drops as low as 0.2ms in wired mode, backed by an 8000Hz polling rate and 128K per key scan rate, so every key press feels instant.
What makes the HE108 more interesting than some other gaming keyboards is the typing feel. The gasket mounted body, flex cut PCB, and five layers of internal dampening give it a softer sound than the harsh clacky feel many magnetic boards can suffer from. The double shot PBT keycaps also help keep the acoustics muted while resisting shine over time.
The full size 108 key layout is practical it keeps the numpad, function row, and navigation without compromise, making it just as useful for office work and as gaming. Wireless support includes Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and wired USB C modes, while the generous 10000mAh battery can deliver up to 500 hours with RGB disabled.
It isn’t perfect however, the thick ABS case feels solid but lacks the premium vibe of aluminium alternatives, and EPOMAKER software could use some polishing up compared with brands using VIA or QMK. Still, for the price, the HE108 offers an impressive mix of gaming performance, customisation, battery life, and genuinely enjoyable acoustics. RRP $95.99
