Epomaker X Aula F108 Pro
Gaming and Computing August 5, 2025
The last in our collection this edition is the Epomaker X Aula F108 Pro, this is another full sized mechanical keyboard that brings enthusiast features to a budget friendly package. Weighing around 1.2 kg it feels strong and stable, it is built with an ABS plastic casing on a gasket mount structure, it offers zero creak even under force, handy for those tense gaming moments. Inside, five layers of sound dampening foam and shields contribute to a refined and muted typing sound that leans towards a deep thock instead of high pitch click.
The board includes a 1.14‑inch LCD screen and multifunction rotary knob. The screen displays time, battery and connection status by default, and is configurable through the bundled software. The knob offers quick access to volume, RGB brightness or custom commands, though it cannot directly control functions like play or pause without using function key combinations. Also, the screen fonts time in 24‑hour format with no easy option to change.
Connectivity is versatile with wired USB‑C, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.0, allowing pairing to three devices. Wireless mode performance remains impressive giving you 1,000 Hz polling is maintained in 2.4 GHz mode with low latency and no noticeable drops. Battery life is generous thanks to the 8,000 mAh battery, offering around 60 to 70 hours of heavy use at full brightness or up to 76 hours as advertised.
It ships with pre‑lubed LEOBOG Greywood V3 or Reaper linear switches and Cherry profile double shot PBT keycaps with south facing per key RGB lighting. Hot swappable sockets for three or five pin switches make customisation quick and easy. Stabiliser is successful at giving you a smooth and rattle free experience.
On the downside, the software is workable but lacks polish compared to premium suites, perhaps it more notable as the hardware punches well above its price range.
In conclusion, the Epomaker X Aula F108 Pro delivers a genuinely premium experience at a reasonable price. It offers strong build quality, exceptional battery life, refined typing feel and tri mode connectivity. Its main drawbacks are the basic software and lack of dedicated media buttons. If you want a full-size board that balances performance and practicality without breaking the bank, the F108 Pro is an excellent choice. RRP $99.99
