My mum has been using the same cookware for as long as I can remember most of which was a wedding gift, this taught me two things, one, good quality pans can last for ages (and still make amazing meals, shout out to mumma review smiths) and two, make sure you get someone else to pay for your pots and pans.
So, when it came to our wedding, we put a selection of Green Pan pots and pans from the Venice Pro collection on the gift list and low and behold nearly three years later they are still as good as new. We were delighted to receive a few more from the collection particularly the Venice Pro Ceramic Non-Stick Shallow Casserole and Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan as we hadn’t previously used these.
We were drawn to the Venice Pro Ceramic range firstly because of its attractive design, the grey matte finish and glossy stainless-steel handles have a timelessness about them but looks count for nothing if the product cannot perform well. That is certainly not an issue with this cookware, the hard-anodised aluminium exterior is durable and comes complete with Magneto Induction technology making it suitable for all heat sources.
The Thermolon Infinity Pro, non-stick coating is enhanced with diamonds (yes diamonds) and withstands even the most intense usage and cleaning, speaking of cleaning that is one of my favourite things about this range, they clean up beautifully and effortlessly, no matter what food violations you have performed. The riveted stainless-steel handles allow your cookware to safely go into the oven and the glass lids provide easy food monitoring without losing the heat. This range is dishwasher proof however hand washing is recommended to help keep the cookware at its best, the Venice Pro Ceramic collection can be used with Gas, Electric, Ceramic and Induction whilst the thick base ensure an even distribution of heat.
The Venice Pro Ceramic Non-Stick Shallow Casserole with Lid, 26cm has a 3.6l capacity with a base diameter of 23cm, it weighs 1980g.
The Venice Pro Ceramic Non-Stick Casserole with lid 24cm, has an extra thick forged base offers an even heat distribution and stability on the hob, it has a 21cm base diameter and 5.14L capacity and weighs 2140g.
Venice Pro Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan requires very little oil for frying, is 24cm in size and weighs 970g making it comfortable to hold in one hand.
Venice Pro Ceramic Non-Stick Saucepan with lid 18cm, like the rest of the Venice Pro range it uses induction base for fast and consistent heating on all hobs, the base diameter is 16cm, it has a 2L capacity and weighs 1120g.
The Venice Pro Collection is a pleasure to cook with, whether it is placed on the hob or in the oven the heat is fast and evenly distributed, the pans are durable and easy to clean, designed to be used for many years to come.
