Dainese AWA BLACK PARKA WMN

AWA Black is the iconic winter collection from Dainese made for superior all-weather protection with thermal isolation and an optimal fit in cold climate conditions, the women’s AWA BLACK PARKA has been created to feel as comfortable on the mountain peaks as it does popping down to the local corner shop.

The PARKA comes in two colours Stretch-Limo or the sample we received Chateau-Gray, it is also available in men’s designs in Black-Iris/Stretch-Limo, Chateau-Gray/Stretch-Limo, Puritan-Gray/Stretch-Limo and Stretch-Limo.

The outer membrane of the PARKA uses Gore-Tex 2L Membrane to ensure it can keep out even the worst of the snow and rain whilst allowing any moisture created inside the jacket to escape, helping you to keep dry and comfortable. The inner lining is a mix between the North down cluster and Merino Wool that comes from Argentina, (40% Wool, 60% Real Duck Down), this not only feels soft against your body but keeps you toasty warm.

With an athletic fit, the jacket hugs the body without restricting movement, the longer cut with the elasticated drawstring at the bottom of the hem ensures water, snow and wind don’t get a chance to get down the back of your trousers. The large cargo pockets feature a zip and flap to keep out water, there is a small pocket in the left arm that can be used for a ski pass or other small items, there is also a chest pocket but no pockets inside the coat.

The main zip is a YKK AquaGuard VISLON water repellent zip with a large zip cover which adds to the style of the jacket, there are reflective strips on the chest pocket and hood, whilst the entire jacket is fully seam sealed. The hood is soft and snuggly (technical term), fully adjustable and provides ample protection against harsh weather, the inner cuffs around the wrists are soft and seal out the wind.

The PARKA comes with a high price tag but it more than makes up for it with design, it’s lightweight, weatherproofing, warm and being oh so comfortable, this versatile jacket is worth every penny. RRP € 699,00
