This is the quickest sequel since the Purge 2, the original Galaxy Watch Active is only a few months old itself but the Active is expected to go on sale later this year. They have not brought back the rotating bezel which I loved on the original Galaxy, they have however added a touch alternative allowing you to run you finger both clockwise and anticlockwise around the outer ring of the screen which allows you to do the same thing allowing you to navigate the interface. The watch this time (pardon the pun) comes in two different versions a 40mm model with a 1.2in screen and a 44mm version with a 1.4in screen, I have tiny wrists so would stick with the smaller of the two but allows you gargantuan wrist types to have a screen that fits more proportionately.
The Active2 maintains all the same fitness features as the original Active while adding the electrocardiogram (ECG), this allows you to monitor the rhythm of your heart and make sure everything is ticking on nicely (sorry punning again).
- New electrocardiogram (ECG) feature
- Two different sizes
- Bring back the rotating bezel!
