The X35 from RiutBag is two bags in one, with an expandable capacity of up to 35 litres this bag is carry-on compatible (50cm x 35cm x 20 cm) and packs down into a slim profiled daypack, ideal for carrying a 13-15.6 inch laptop.

With a sleek urban style this backpack has been designed to be ready for work, travel, casual use and everything in between, featuring RiutBags 100% secure reverse zip system you know your belongings are protected from pick pockets and thieves in busy areas. The X35 has a unique origami design to expand it outwards, it arrives folded, when more capacity is needed simply unclip the side snap fastenings and top buckles to pop out the extra space.

This bag is highly durable thanks to the tough, waterproof woven nylon and anti-abrasion TPU, the ridged sides make for a sturdy backpack for daily and international travel. The main 10 / 35 litre compartment opens suitcase style and has a bright, cavernous area to store the majority of your possessions and there is a handy mesh divider to provide privacy. The 15.6” laptop compartment has built in cushioning for protection, there are zipped inner pockets, a top loop for hanging, an extra compartment for holding a tablet or documents straight, two large 32cm bottle holders, top handle, an extra-large top pocket, zipped D-pocket at the base of the spine for access on the go, a trolley suitcase strap and adjustable/removable chest straps.

The bag weighs 1.38kg, a compatible attachable and removable waist strap is available for added stability and better weight distribution when carrying heavy loads for longer periods of time (it’s a pity its not included as standard). The zips for all the access points lay comfortably on the carriers back for high security, unfortunately there is no ventilation system on the bag and combined with that strong nylon material things can get rather hot and sweaty on warmer days.
