Samsonite Proxis Spinner Expandable

Luggage may seem like an odd thing to find charming but when it comes as beautifully packaged as the Samsonite Proxis Spinner Expandable suitcase it is hard not to.

There are a few different case sizes in the Proxis range, and we received the Spinner (4 wheels) Expandable 55cm (20cm) in a gloriously rich Petrol Blue it is also available in Silver, Honey Gold and Black. Measuring up at 55 x 40 x 20cm with expandable dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23cm it is carry on compatible with many airlines British Airways, easyJet and Ryanair to name a small few. It has a tough but flexible outer shell made from Roxkin, which is an exclusive multi-layered material developed by Samsonite, it springs back into shape after bending and delivers robustness whilst maintaining lightness at just 2.2 kg. Continuing on the outside of the case there are four smooth-rolling wheels for a quiet and smooth ride around the airport, the elongated double tube pull handle is durable and expands to different heights for comfort.

There is a leather tag that can be personalised by having your initials monogrammed on it, this is offered for free upon purchase or during registration (check out the Samsonite Wecare registration for servicing, repair and recycling benefits). The integrated USB port lets devices be charged up on the move (power bank not included), and the TSA approved combination lock keeps your belongings safe whilst travelling (zips can also be padlocked together). There is a carry handle on both the top and side of the bag as well as a retractable, integrated ID tag that also has the bags measurements on underneath for quick reference. Moving to the inside the Proxis offers 38L (44L when expanded), there are two spacious compartments that can be zipped up for privacy or reducing the interior size for shorter trips. The removable cross ribbons on one side hold your belongings in place whilst on the other is a large mesh pocket to store the things you are more like to need whilst travelling, there is also a pocket dedicated for storing your power bank. The expandable system is pretty nifty, tucked away in the zip system is the second zip which expands the bag, the other zip pulls can then be tucked away under the elastic strap.
