W-King X10 4

With the sunshine finally joining us for spring it’s a perfect time of year to get outside and enjoy some vitamin d. The W KING X10 is a good companion for people who want big, room filling sound without paying premium JBL or Bose money. It is a chunky, rugged Bluetooth speaker that focuses heavily on volume and bass, and for outdoor use especially, it performs far better than its price suggests.

The X10 uses a four-driver setup with dual 3.66-inch subwoofers, dual tweeters, and three passive radiators pushing 70W RMS or 120W peak output. This means it gets seriously loud without turning into a distorted mess. Bass is deep and heavy, making dance music, hip hop, and outdoor playlists sound full and energetic, while vocals still stay reasonably clear. It is tuned more for fun than accuracy, but that suits the speaker perfectly.

Battery life is good, the 15300mAh battery can deliver up to 42 hours at lower volumes, and it also doubles as a power bank for charging your phone during camping trips or days outside. Bluetooth 5.4 keeps the connection stable, and there is support for AUX, USB, and TF cards if you want offline playback.
The rugged IPX6 water resistant body feels durable enough for outdoor activities. It is designed for gardens, beaches, garages, and camping rather than sitting neatly on a bookshelf. The detachable shoulder strap helps moving it around because at roughly 3kg this is not a lightweight speaker.

There are compromises. The sound can lack detail compared with pricier rivals, charging takes a while at 3.5hrs, and portability suffers because of the size and weight. Still, if your priority is loud, bass heavy sound with huge stamina at a sensible price, the X10 is excellent value. RRP £125
