Olight Seeker 2 Pro 5

Small can be powerful and that’s one of the easiest ways to sum up the Olight Seeker 2 Pro, this compact torch measures up with a 35mm head diameter and a body diameter of 28mm with a total length of 128mm and a weight of just 198g.

The Seeker 2 comes with a rechargeable battery, magnetic charging cable, holster, an L-Dock magnetic wall mount that can be stuck or screwed to the wall, so you always know where the torch is in emergencies. The Dock is charging compatible via the magnetic attachment at the bottom, there are even a couple of cable tidies and a cleaning cloth thrown in for good measure. The carry case can be attached to a belt or the outside of a backpack for quick access although the buckle sits under a strap so is easier to open with two hands but can be stowed away and closed with one hand. The torch itself has a strong metal body with a comfortable dermatoglyphic silicone non-slip grip and milled finger grooves for a firm hold even in gloves or with wet hands, the IPX8 ensure it is fully waterproof and can survive being dropped from 1.5metres. There is a large on/off button which set the torch to the last light level used, you can then toggle through the other settings, there is a light up indicator on either side of the on/off switch which displays the battery level and brightness setting.

There are 5 light levels to choose from pressing and holding the on/off button will move through 4 settings, moonlight, low, medium and high mode, to access turbo mode the button requires a double click. The torch can also be locked and unlocked with a 2 second hold on the button to prevent it accidently switching on when it’s not needed, a triple click of the button will activate strobe mode to draw attention to yourself. The Moonlight mode produces 5 lumens and will run for up to 12days, the Low mode provides 50 lumens of light for up to 50hours, the Medium mode give you 300 lumens for 9.7hours whilst the High mode kicks out 1200 lumen for 110+30 minutes. The Turbo mode can produce a whopping 3200 lumen for 2+150 minutes, it has a max throw of 250m, the 3 LED produces a broad beam also covering a great deal of space in bright light. This powerful torch is a great piece of EDC equipment and suitable for search and rescue, camping, industrial use, security, police, self-defence and outdoor activities. It is well worth the money.
