Vivobarefoot Magna FG

The Magna FG range is the latest release from Vivobarefoot with the FG standing for Firm Ground, these shoes are available in both Mens and Womens Obsidian and Sedona Sage in sizes 3-14, the Magna has been designed with a more casual look than a sports shoe.

The Firm Ground name is due to the outsole, it features a 2.5mm base and 4mm lug height for a multi terrain traction, the sticky rubber compound adds to the strong grip and durability. This sole makes the Magna suitable for everything from wet pavements to dry, rocky landscapes, there is extra texture around the arch for a zonal grip on more technical trails. Moving to the insole the Magna uses the Outlast Thermal Insole, this delivers a degree of temperature regulation which absorbs, stores and releases the heat, helping your feet stay at a comfortable temperature be it warm or cold. The upper is made from a combination of Wildhide Leather and merino wool, the leather is naturally scarred from free-roaming cattle sourced from small scale farmers.

The merino wool is Woolmark certified which provides the highest quality standard and sourcing assurance, this material is highly versatile, with natural breathability, temperature regulation and wicking properties. The upper is finished with a water-resistant treatment and hi-tech seal, it has more of a high-top fit with the knitted collar that provides a sock lining feel around the ankle. These shoes feature all the familiar Vivobarefoot details we are used to seeing, including the Foot shaped (not shoe shaped) cut, the wider fit for natural stability, the thin sole to feel the earth beneath your feet and the high flexibility to let your feet move exactly how they were designed to.

They are also part of the Revivo program which means you can return the shoes when you are finished with them and they will be recycled, remade and reworn.
