TinyCircuits Tiny TV 2 4

The TinyTV 2 isn’t just painfully cute, but it is functional, these 1:12 scale devices measure up at 47.6mm H x 36.6mm L x 25.9mm W and it arrives fully assembled. It is ready to use right out of the box and comes preloaded with videos, the knobs on the side control the volume and surf between channels by turning the knobs. There is a nostalgia about the design, the peg legs, brown casing and knobs have real 50s vibes which is a wonderful juxtaposition with the modern tech its packed with. The display is IPS TFT 65K Colour, 26mm (1.0″), 216×135 pixels, it comes with built in 8GB storage that offers about 10 hours of video playback and the 16x9mm (0.6″ x 0.4″) front facing speaker provides the audio.

It has a rechargeable battery that gives you about 2 hours of playtime and comes with its own usable Tiny infrared remote control and it is all powered by Raspberry Pi RP2040 Processor. There is an option available to have clear casing so you can see all the chips and wires inside which gives it more of 90s feel, when everything was see through for some reason. It is straightforward to load your own videos, movies, and TV shows using the TinyTV Converter which is a free tool to convert any MP4 file, then simply load the files onto the TinyTV 2 using the USB-C. You can also stream videos from a connected computer over USB-C however it is worth knowing that it does not receive over-the-air television content, nor can it wirelessly livestream so you will still have to watch the world cup final on a regular device. RRP £50
