The Alpha Solway Face Fit test kit has been designed to protect those from poorly fitted respiratory protective equipment (RPE), whether it’s facial hair getting in the way of a tight seal or damaged equipment this kit will show you exactly how effective the RPE is. This kit comes with a hood, 12 x 2.5ml Bitter Sensitivity Solutions, 12 x 2.5ml Bitter Test Solutions and 2 x Nebulisers with instructions for use. It works by detecting a harmless, bitter tasting solution, Bitrex, or the Saccharin sweet solution during a series of different exercises over a period of time. These solutions are produced in a mist by the nebuliser, if the wearer can taste either solution then the respirator has failed the test, this is a simple but highly effective way to ensure the safety of both yourself and any employees working in hazardous environments.
