BaKblade 2.0 Elite 4

Body hair is a funny thing, it seems every society has certain preferences, in some areas of the body it is acceptable and seen as attractive whilst other areas regard it as undesirable, whilst we believe you should love your body in its natural form we also respect peoples decision to groom be it for appearance, confidence or comfort.

The majority of the body is easily accessible with a regular razor, the back however is a different story, it is difficult to reach even with the best contortionist skills, the back is a much larger surface area than the face, taking a long time with a small, traditional razor. The BaKblade 2.0 Elite has been created to allow the user to shave their own back in a quick and painless way, no need for messy creams or painful waxing, it comes with the BaKblade 2.0 Elite, three DryGlide Blades, the BaKjacKet, a safety blade cleaning brush and a suction cup wall mount.

The handle folds out into an curved s-shape that remains ridged whilst you shave, the redesigned DryGlide safety blades can be used wet or dry, the blade head can also be detached so it can be comfortably used on your chest and abs too, the extra-wide blades allow for over three times the coverage of your average cartridge razor. The BaKblade 2.0 Elite comes with an exfoliating brush on one side which is a nice touch and the BaKjacKet can be used like a sponge to apply soap or shaving cream to the back.

The blades are very sharp, light pressure and slow movements are essential to avoid cutting yourself, it was easier on wet skin with a little bit of soap so you have a smoother gliding motion. The top of the back can be reached by going over the top of the shoulders whilst the lower back is easier to do by reaching around the side of the body and shaving horizontally, it is worth using a mirror the first few times before you get the hang of it, just to make sure you are careful around any spots, moles or skin tags. The BaKblade Elite 2.0 is less messy than hair removal cream, it is also easy to get all over the back, however it is quite easy to nick yourself so it is definitely worth checking your back in the mirror before popping on a white t-shirt. RRP £29.99
