The Tv Chef Julia Child famously said, “with enough butter, anything is good”, and she was certainly right, however when I come across a recipe that helpfully says “soften butter” it normally involves accidently melting the butter in the microwave or trying to cream cold, rock hard butter unsuccessfully. The problem is where do you store your butter dish, keep it in the fridge and your toast becomes a mangled mess, leave it on the countertop and in the summer months you end up with a greasy puddle. The fan is located at the base of the unit which can become a little clogged up with debris so it will need checking and cleaning from time to time.
