Där lighting is a well-known family lighting business, starting out in a spare bedroom in 1971 as a “lighting for the home” project by a young art student, the UK design team now creates original lighting designs that bring in individuality and ambience to any home, inside and out, big or small.
Inspiration was taken from handwoven lampshades and organic shapes to produce a wide range of designs to compliment your home décor. The Adna Floor Lamp is a great example of a piece that marries statement and elegance together perfectly, this leggy beauty is available in matt Green or Grey with natural wood details.
This Scandi-inspired Adna floor lamp features an adjustable shade, this is in the grey or green and features a white interior for optimum light distribution, the shade can be set to the desired height via the screws. The large tripod base simply screws together, the legs are non-adjustable in height or in how far they expand so this could restrict where the lamp can be located, it measures up at H157 x W64cm with the base coming in at 158 x 57cm and with a 18 x 30cm shade and weighs 3.5kg.
The braided cable compliments the rubber wood and metal combination, you will require a 60w max ES GLS bulb with an IP20 rating making it suitable for indoor use only. The lamp is switched on via the large floor button, allowing your feet to do the work so you can light up the room even when your hands are full, the light produced is warm and fills the room easily. The modern lamp oozes Scandinavian class making it both a striking and functional piece in a contemporary home.
