NAVITEL RS985 GPS
Motors February 4, 2026
The Navitel RS985 GPS is a dual‑camera dashcam that aims to give you a clear picture of your journeys and added peace of mind on the road. It records the view in front of your vehicle in 4K resolution with a wide 160° field of view via the Sony STARVIS sensor, while the included rear camera captures Full HD footage with a 120° angle. That combination makes it easier to catch important details from both directions, whether you are driving in town or on motorways.
The built‑in Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) can warn you about lane departures, potential collisions and changes in traffic flow, helping you stay alert to hazards. There is also a GPS sensor that alerts you to speed cameras, bus lanes and other restrictions, and a digital speedometer to show your speed on the dashcam screen.
The footage is recorded in a continuous with loop, and a G‑sensor automatically protects footage if it detects a sudden impact or sharp turn. There is a parking mode that can capture activity around your car when it is parked, though this works best when the dashcam is connected to a constant power source.
You can control settings either with the buttons on the unit or through the Navitel DVR Centre app over Wi‑Fi, which also lets you share videos to your phone without removing the memory card. A clear 3″ IPS screen makes navigation simple and the support for cards up to 512 GB means you can store many hours of footage.
If you want a compact dashcam with high‑resolution front and rear recording plus driver alerts, the RS985 GPS covers lots of bases without being complicated to use. RRP £139
