The TX 168 from Technaxx is a universal car alarm, it comes with a car alarm, external siren with connection cable and 3A fuse, remote control (with CR2032 battery), Mounting material and user manual. This mini alarm is just 69g and (L) 3.0 x (W) 3.0 x (H) 13.5cm whilst the external siren is 120g and (L) 7.3 x (W) 5.7 x (H) 6.2cm, do not let the size deceive you however it can knock out a 105dB alarm. The DC12 or 24V rechargeable Car Alarm is for the cigarette lighter socket whilst the DC12 or 24V external siren is for the engine compartment for drawing even more attention to your vehicle to deter intruders. The remote allows you to active and deactivate the alarm a red light will flash every 5 seconds to indicate it is activated, the PIR will reach the car from up to 10m with a clear view and it is possible to connect up to three remote controls for one alarm. The alarm will automatically be triggered when it detects motion via the PIR sensor, there is a manual panic button that can be activated from inside the car too. The detecting range is 120° cone angle and the rechargeable battery has a charging time of two hours with equates to a working time of seven days and standby time of up to 14 days, the indicating light will let you know the battery and charging status.
