The 2020 is the upgraded version of the best-selling Billingham bag, the Hadley Pro, made from real full grain leather with brass fixings, it doesn’t immediately scream out that it is packed with valuable camera gear. Measuring up externally at W430mm x D160mm x H280mm (including top handle) it weighs 1.2kgs and offers up to 6L of storage space, it comes with the Hadley Pro Removable Insert, Hadley Pro Divider Set which consists of two Small (flap) and two Large (vertical) dividers, the shoulder sling strap (38mm wide), Hadley ‘Standard’ Front Straps (Unstitched) and a drawstring protective bag. The top handle has fibreglass reinforcement to reduce stress on the bag as you lift it up, the shoulder sling strap can be worn ‘on the shoulder’ or across the body for extra security.

The new luggage trolley retainer strap is fitted to the back of the bag, there is also a zipped pocket with an upgraded weather-proof zipper for storing passports and travel documents. The removable padded insert (with a padded lid) is made from a protective fabric-covered foam that can be configured for your gear profile and will house most DSLRs (without a battery grip) or almost any mirrorless camera with room for two or three small to medium sized lenses with accessories (will fit most 70-200mm lenses). The main top flap is shaped around the opening to prevent rain, snow or unwanted fingers getting into the bag. In addition, the Canvas and FibreNyte fabrics are made up of three-layers, with a waterproof butyl rubber middle which doesn’t require reproofing for lifelong use. Additional Billingham AVEA 7 or AVEA 8 pockets can be bought separately and attached for expanded storage space, the front straps feature a Quick Release System (QRS), which allows the bag to be opened and closed with one hand quickly and securely. The solid brass buckles allow you to alter the capacity of the front pockets to keep a slimmer profile when it isn’t as full. One of the best things about this beautiful bag is that you can remove all the dividers and use this bag for day to day use when you are leaving the camera at home.
