Compressport Stream Trisuit
Sports and Fitness October 4, 2026
Triathlon kit has a complicated job, it needs to feel right in the water, offer enough comfort on the bike and then let you run without restriction or chaffing. The Compressport Stream Trisuit takes a considered approach to all three, with particular attention to airflow and fit.
This is a close fitting, short sleeved suit developed with professional athletes and tested in a wind tunnel. Textured Aero-stripes on the sleeves and legs are designed to reduce drag on the bike. That may matter most to racers chasing small gains, but the smooth, secure fit has a more immediate appeal: there is little loose fabric to flap about.
The ultra-lighweight Payen fabric is designed to manage moisture and temperature, with mesh panels along the back, beside the front zip and down the legs for extra ventilation. Stretchy sleeve seams and carefully placed armholes aim to reduce rubbing as you change position between disciplines. There is also some postural support built into the suit, although the real test of that claim would be the final miles of a race.
The full-length front zip gives you room to cool down, while a supportive belt around the waist provides storage for small essentials. Two stretchy rear pockets keep gels within reach. On the bike, a shaped, multi density pad offers cushioning without requiring separate cycling shorts; it uses graphene yarn with antibacterial properties.
The close fit and premium price make this a suit to choose carefully. It is also more specialist than an occasional triathlete may need. However, for regular racing, the Stream brings you all the features you need to shave off those valuable seconds. The ventilation, accessible pockets and attention to movement are likely to matter just as much as its wind tunnel credentials when race day gets tough. RRP £260
