I am newly converted to using a running vest I used to use a belt but after borrowing one from a friend I realised it was so much more comfortable, so I was excited to see what the Ultrun Evo 10 Pack had to offer. This Compressport vest offers (as you may have guess from the name) a generous 10 litre capacity, making it ideal for long trail runs, mountain races or ultramarathons where you need to carry more than just your phone and keys.

The ergonomic design has been created with input from elite athletes to ensure the vest fits snugly to the body like a second skin, reducing bounce and chafing even on long, technical terrain. The soft stretch material is breathable and conforms to your shape without digging in or restricting movement, which is always noticeable on longer outings.

The storage organisation is well thought out, with multiple front pockets for soft flasks, nutrition and quick access items. The bottles are places at an angle to not only allow easy access but to give your ribcage all the space it needs to expand. There is a central rear compartment with enough space for a lightweight jacket, headlamp and other mandatory kit. The vest also includes dedicated trekking pole holders, which are positioned so they do not interfere with your stride on the back. It is surprisingly spacious when you add in all you gear, and the load feels well distributed.
